rkss has shared a new collection of Top 40 dance remixes called Illegal Material.
It's a follow-up to the London artist's recent album, DJ Tools, for Lee Gamble's label. In keeping with the theme, she built that whole nine-track collection using an EDM sample pack as well as other software typically associated with commercial dance music. Illegal Material, which includes remixes of anthems like Vengaboys' "Up & Down" and Daft Punk's "One More Time," is available for free download via Mediafire.
"For various reasons these remixes aren't ones I could effectively sample for the original release on UIQ," she says on Twitter, "or distribute on platforms like Soundcloud or Spotify or whatever, so someone has leaked them on this nifty website as a free mixtape."
