  • Weather Festival will make its return after a brief hiatus this spring. The Paris event will take place at La Seine Musicale on Saturday, April 27th. Weather's team shared a manifesto on social media explaining that the "constant race" to book talent, increased competition and "unbearable increase" in fees caused the two-year break. They say they've taken the time to "reinvent" themselves for the comeback edition, and that their goals include highlighting French talent and presenting a diverse range of emerging artists—"This time we want to come back for good!" The 2019 edition invites Daniel Avery, Ciel, Deena Abdelwahed, OKO DJ, Bonaventure, DjRUM, Red Axes and more—plus Octo Octa and Eris Drew for a back-to-back set. KiNK, Alva Noto, The Pilotwings, Driss Bennis, Tryphème count among the live performers, with premieres set from Lanark Artefax and Luxor, a project by Antigone and Shlømo.
