RA launches ravelove charity series in Los Angeles with Avalon Emerson, Kelman Duran

- Jackie House, Lovefingers and Chris Cruse complete the El Cid lineup for Thursday, February 21st.
- RA's new event series will kick off with ravelove LA at El Cid February 21st. In 2019, RA will throw two ravelove events in LA, New York, Berlin and London. The inaugural ravelove will go down at El Cid, the intimate sunken bar on Sunset Boulevard, where we previously hosted a party for our Community Connections series. Each ravelove party will support a local charity. In LA, all proceeds will go to REACH LA, a long-running non-profit that works with young LGBT people of color, aged 16-29, providing artistic, social and sexual health services. REACH LA provides free HIV testing, mental health resources and also hosts weekly dance workshops, along with the annual Ovahness ball, which is the biggest vogue ball on the West Coast. Joining us at El Cid will be art of DJing star Avalon Emerson, recent Breaking Through subject Kelman Duran, Honey Soundystem's Jackie House, Lovefingers and Chris Cruse, the man behind much-loved gay parties Spotlight and The Closer.
