- Justin Tripp and Brian Close have signed to the Scottish label for their next full-length.
New York duo Georgia will release an album called Time via Firecracker Recordings in April.
It's Justin Tripp and Brian Close's first release for the Edinburgh label, who describe it as an "uncannily externalized, conflicting collage of half remembered dance ritual memories." Time follows records for Meakusma, Palto Flats and Emotional Response, among others, stretching back to their self-released debut in 2012. "With any luck," Firecracker writes, "it will help you unlock your inner portals—should they need assistance in that regard anyway."
Earlier this year the label also released an album from founder Lindsay Todd's in-house collaborative project, Mac-Talla Nan Creag, called The Sorrow Of Derdriu.
