  • Kode9's first solo release since 2015 is coming via Hyperdub in May. Diggin In The Carts Remixes features four edits of tracks from Diggin In The Carts, a 2017 compilation of rare '80s and '90s Japanese video game music put together by Kode9 and Nick Dwyer. He's been playing the tracks live as part of his current audiovisual set. Konx-Om-Pax designed the album art, inspired by renowned anime animator Koji Morimoto, who also provided visuals for the live show and original compilation. This will be Kode9's first solo release since his 2015 LP, Nothing. Last year, he mixed the 100th and final edition of Fabriclive with Burial. Listen to Kode9's remix of "Bad Data (Dezaemon)" by Koichi Ishibashi.
