Located in an underground car park in the city centre, the space will stay open for two years.
FFORMATT is a 1000-square-metre space located in a car park beneath the former Actiris building on the Anspachlaan, one of the main boulevards in the Belgian capital. According to the owners, DJ Manu del Aguila (AKA AAguilAA) and seasoned local promoter Wilfried Redant, it's a temporary project set to last two years. As well as parties, there will be concerts, exhibitions, lectures and more.
The programme launches on Saturday with local party Vicuna, which is celebrating its tenth anniversary with sets from DJ AtHome and AAguilAA. Looking further ahead, Physical Therapy and The Stress have been tapped to perform.
FFORMATT is the latest in a string of venues opening in Brussels. Earlier this month, La Cabane, a new 400-capacity club focused on "micro-clubbing," announced its arrival on the scene.
