- place : is a new compilation series that also raises funds for human rights issues.
Air Texture will launch a new compilation series in partnership with Kompakt called place :, with the first two out June 1st.
The country-specific electronic music series starts with Colombia (curated in collaboration with Julianna) and Georgia (curated with help from Giorgi lakobidze and Sandro Mezurnishvili). They'll donate profits to human rights advocates in each place—in Colombia it's Mutante, an organization that fights sexual violence towards underage women, and in Georgia it's the Human Rights Education and Monitoring Center (EMC). The project "celebrates electronic music as an egalitarian, classless and empowering art form."
