  • The next release on Omar-S's FXHE Records is a reissue of a 1996 house record by Marc Pharaoh, AKA Marc King. Spanning three tracks, Soul Sounds 3 originally came out on Soul City, the now-defunct label started by "Mad" Mike Banks. It marks a return to FXHE for King, who released a 12-inch of original material as Marc King in 2015. It's also the first record to be reissued on the Detroit label since AJL Band 's 1979 album Take Me Dancing, which was re-released in 2017.Soul Sounds 3 is out in May. In addition to Soul City, King released on 430 West and Detroit Electronica Coalition. He also has writing credits on Scan-7's Black Moon Rising EP, which came out in 1993 through Underground Resistance. Listen to "My Body Is Strong."
