  • Doepfer has a new Slim Line of Eurorack modules. With space at a premium in most modular cases, the Slim Line series is designed to compress important functions into the smallest possible width. The A-111-6, for instance, squeezes an entire synth voice—namely an oscillator, filter, VCA and envelope—into just 10 HP for €180. Apart from the A-118-2 noise and random source and the A-121-3 multimode filter, the rest of the modules in the Slim Line comprise important utilities like the A-182-2 Quad Switches, A-138n Narrow Mixer and A-130-2 Dual VCA, all of which are only 4 HP wide. The set is rounded out by the 4 HP A-145-4, which finds room for four LFOs, and the A-138i Interrupting Mixer, which offers mute switches and more extensive routing options than its Narrow counterpart. Excluding the filter, which costs €100, and synth voice, all the other modules retail for between €50 and €80. The new products will be on display at Superbooth in Berlin this week. Doepfer also recently released a range of polyphonic modules.
