  • Exos is starting a new label called Planet X. The new platform will focus on straight-up techno, or what a press release for Planet X calls "the rougher side of the galactic spectrum." The first release comes from the Icelandic producer himself, featuring one new track—"Bingo," which samples his father's rock band Octal—and one unreleased tune from the '90s, "Ingo." Ben Sims and Antigone provide remixes. The second release on Planet X will come from fellow Icelandic producer LaFontaine, featuring a remix from Matrixxman. Exos tells RA that Planet X will differ from X/OZ, the label he started in 2017, by focusing on a "dance floor style" as opposed to the "experimental and deep techno vibe" of X/OZ.
