  • Waajeed's next EP on his Dirt Tech Reck label will feature the Wu-Tang-affiliated singer Blue Raspberry. The first track on Ten Toes Down, "Heavy," includes vocals from Blue Raspberry, appearing under her Candi Lindsey alias. The three-track EP is "a reflection of many changes" since the artist's 2018 album, From The Dirt, and will be "the first in a string of releases" for the Detroit producer this year. "Whether it's stress from the political climate in the world we live in, or resistance to my soulfulness from the industry, Ten Toes Down is my mantra to stay true to myself first," said the producer. "It's a reminder to stay committed to my voice and my community." Tracklist A1 Heavy feat. Candi Lindsey A2 Heavy (Instrumental) B1 Deeper Into Blue B2 Too Black
Dirt Tech Reck will release Ten Toes Down on July 26, 2019.
