Portugal's DJ Firmeza has announced his next EP.
Ardeu, which arrives on September 13th through Príncipe, features four batida, kuduro and techno-influenced tracks. On two of them, DJ Firmeza delivers improvised vocals known as animação, a style of MCing defined by its stream-of-consciousness flow.
This is the artist's first EP since 2015's Alma Do Meu Pai, also released via the Lisbon label. Learn more about Príncipe and DJ Firmeza in Ryan Keeling's 2014 feature, The ghetto sound of Lisbon.
