Iona Fortune's next volume in her Tao Of I album series is coming soon on Ecstatic Recordings.
Tao Of I Vol. 2 spans eight tracks and continues Fortune's minimalist and Fourth World sound. She composed the LP using both electronic Western and traditional Chinese instruments, including the Synthi AKS, guzheng (a Chinese zither) and the gamelan.
This release follows Iona Fortune's 2017 debut with the first volume of Tao Of I on Optimo Music. It's the second edition in an eight-part series inspired by her exploration of the fundamental principles of the I Ching (or The Book Of Changes).
