Out through Lorenzo Senni's Presto!? label, 12H is compiled from music Dozzy made for an installation.
The music on 12H is a two-hour summary of material that Dozzy made for the Music Bridge in Rome, which spans the Tiber River. The original installation was 12 hours long and was a 24-channel piece (set up by Dozzy's frequent collaborator Neel) that combined synthesizers, samples and local field recordings for a soundtrack that would follow the listener as they crossed. 12H is out in October.
Most recently, Dozzy announced a 12-inch made only with the EMS Synthi AKS on the One Instrument label, and he's put out EPs for Danza Tribale and his own Spazio Disponible this year.
Presto!? is also reissuing the 2005 album Point Line Cloud from American composer Curtis Roads, who specializes what he calls "microsounds" and has been cited by Autechre as an influence in the past.
Both Roads and Dozzy will play Threes' two-part Positive Feedback event in Milan on Friday, October 4th, also featuring Senni, Florian Hecker, Ewa Justka and Tasho Ishi.
