  • Arca has composed a new song to be played inside the lobby of the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York for the next two years. The piece will be part of the newly renovated museum and will debut at the MoMA reopening on October 21st. As FACT reports, the multimedia artist was asked to turn the lobby into a "real public space," and decided to create an installation that reacts to its surroundings. The project is called Echo (Danny The Street), and Arca contributed a song that she says "will never play the same way twice" with the help of AI software from Bronze. "It's amazing to think of how many people that don't know about my work will have my sounds passing through their body as they pass through the space into the MoMA," she said on Instagram.
