  • Strange Sounds From Beyond is ending. Founder Quintin Van Der Spek released the following statement via email: "After running my own festivals with a lot of love, passion and pleasure for seven years straight now, I feel the time has come to move on." He says, "I truly believe that we as SSFB were able to contribute to the diversity of the scene and to the success of the careers of some incredible artists. Something I am very proud of and thankful for we could do." Strange Sounds From Beyond doubled as the Dutch music festival, launched in 2016, and online platform for sharing alternative dance music, with a focus on diversity and local talent. Earlier this year, the crew held a sold-out show at ADE with Low Jack, TITIA and more. Read our review of the first festival in 2016.
