  • Last year The Warehouse Project was one of the most innovative and best things to crop up on the UK's clubbing calendar, running for twelve weeks from October and finishing on a high on New Year's Day with Laurent Garnier. Rambling around the freezing brewery to Jeff Mills was a highlight, as was the opening party with Digweed and Howells. I even enjoyed Francois K’s stand-in set for the Cosmic Twins (hopefully they won’t cock up anybody’s flight this time). But then, sadly, it was no more. Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket They’ve been hinting at a return for ages now (after disappointing me with a comeback night at the Apollo. Drum n bass, seriously?) and finally, they’re back. Here’s what they’ve got lined up for the May Bank Holiday weekend. The Essential Selection Party - Friday May 25th Pete Tong Sander Kleinenberg (Live DVJ Set) Krysko Radio Soulwax - Saturday May 26th Soulwax presents Niteversions (live) 2 Many DJs Boys Noize Vitalic (live) Andro Ape vs. Metropolis - Sunday May 27th Pendulum DJ Yoda Friction TC (live) Foreign Beggars (live) Rich Reason Prophecy & Mark OD Don’t know about you, but I feel somewhat…crestfallen. Pete Tong and Sander Kleinenberg? Hardly forward thinking, and, yes, more drum n bass on Sunday. The Radio Soulwax night looks like the only truly promising one a decent time. Sure enough the crowds will get pulled in by the novelty of partying under Piccadilly Train Station but where have all the exciting DJs gotten to?
