There are things afoot at Room680 in Melbourne, but for a change RA can't report what! The strangest press release has arrived but it has definately piqued our curiosity. After all, did you know that "in 1806 English physician and naturalist Thomas Young recorded the vibrations of a tuning fork on a rotating drum covered with wax. There was no way at the time to play this recording back."
What we can tell you is that this Saturday April 3rd Room will be turning it up with the launch of their new night Volume. The club is aiming to put the fun back into Saturday night clubbing with a brand new musical direction, and all star DJ lineup incorporating every big club sound. No DJ names have been released for the launch, but that's not surprising given the promoters say "It’s all about the people this time". The opening party is by invitation only so you better shout out with Volume if you want to be there.
