  • Nightclubs (much like music trends) come and go at regular intervals. For clubbers this creates a pleasant seasonal variety of venue options and it forces the cream of the best venues to rise to the top. One such brand of top-heavy cream is top London club – The End. On Saturday 4th December 2004, The End will be holding the mother of all birthday bashes, as the club celebrates 9 years in the business of music, madness and providing us with some magical nights out. The main room will throb to the sounds of birthday guest Green Velvet, making a rare UK appearance alongside Mr C. Whilst regular End guests Layo + Bushwacka will be reeling them in with a very special alternative set in AKA. The End will be trucking in the festive décor to add to the Birthday flavour. The last 12 months have been huge for the club. Resident Laurent Garnier threw a host of cool parties. The likes of techno gurus Richie Hawtin and Jeff Mills came threw the door, whilst dance favourites Groove Armada and Frankie Knuckles took it housey on certain nights. Erol Alkan's seminal night Trash on Mondays continued, devotees of new breaks residency Chew The Fat on Fridays enjoyed the broken beats and those fun boys danced away on Thursdays at Discotec, Tickets to both AKA and The End “As One’ are £15.
