Ed Rush & Optical are a duo whose name has become synonymous with drum'n'bass much like Drumsound & Simon Bassline Smith, Marky & XRS and Aphrodite & Mickey Finn. Before they teamed up Optical made a name for himself as an engineer for Grooverider, Goldie and Jumping Jack Frost while Ed Rush was putting out releases on labels like No-U-Turn and Prototype Recordings.
The pair have just completed a new mix CD, Out Of The Box which features tracks from J-Majik, Capone, and 3 exclusive tunes from Ed Rush & Optical themselves. The album also comes with a DVD featuring interviews done with the boys, studio tips and live DJ footage. To celebrate the release, RA are giving out 2 copies to 2 lucky local members (only open to Australian readers).
