Detroit production mogul Waajeed who has recently made waves in the Hip Hop ocean will be in London for a special gig at Cargo on January 15. He will return in April with a full band for a more extensive European tour, but this one off will give fans of his sound a chance to enjoy ambitious star early this year.
The founding member of the Platinum Pied Pipers, whose debut album is out through Ubiquity records on April 19 will be joined on the night by Oh No (Stones Throw), The Nudge & Kwasi (Grand Central / Friends and Family), Mrs. Brogan (Nuff Rope Records). Entry for the nicely hidden Hoxton based venue is £10 (£6 before 9pm) with doors open at 8pm.
