  • UK breakbeat producer/DJ Glen Nicholls is better known as Future Funk Squad. He'll be making a visit to Melbourne on Tuesday 25 January (Australia Day eve) to play a set of "breaks for beat feaks" at Fractured. FFS has been producing a whole range of musical styles for the past 10 years and as remixed many acts including Sia, Moloko, Lamb, Rob Dougan, George, and more. He has 3 breakbeat labels, en:vision, Re:connect and Default, which have spawned such great acts such as C83, Kraymon, Madam Breaks, D-Pimp and featured remixes from EK, Elite Force, Phantom Beats, Christian J and many more! This trip to Australia comes on the heels of his two most recent remixes, Mylo 'Drop The Pressure' and The Prodigy 'Spitfire'. The FFS debut album 'Audio Damage' is due out this northern summer, when the FFS live show will hit the festival circuit, and Glen will be touring his DJ sets throughout Australia, US, Canada, Japan and parts of Europe. Supporting Future Funk Squad will be Phil K, Blueprint live, Lynt, Thayer, and Feigan. The party takes place at Platform 1 in the Melbourne CBD.
