  • Since their 2004 Grammy nomination for Best Remix of Seal’s 'Get It Together' DJ/Producers Bill Hamel and Barry Jamieson have been busy penning their own original material under the name Audio Magnetics. ‘Ghetto Blasta Deluxe’, the first release from the duo, has already been picked up by Sander Kleinenberg’s label, Little Mountain Recordings. Now a staple on Pete Tong’s BBC Radio 1 show, always a good sign for a tunes popularity, the speed at which ‘Ghetto Blasta Deluxe’ has blown up has even surprised Hamel
“It’s crazy how quickly things have been moving with this track, - It was just a month ago that Barry and I sent it to a few friends for their DJ sets. One of those friends was Sander and he liked so much he quickly signed it to Little Mountain. Now it’s an essential tune.”
Look for it on promo at the Miami Winter Music Conference. Those keen to catch Bill in action can see him making a special dj appearance at Monday Night Social @ Nacional in Los Angeles on February 14th, 2005, whilst he also starts a weekly residency at Zinc in Orlando on Feb 22nd, 2005.
