  • When FBi 94.5 Radio launched in August 2003, it had a mission to bring quality dance music to Sydney. To achieve this they approached some of Sydney’s best known and well loved DJs and ask them to program two hours of dance music every weeknight, playing new releases and club favourites and some leffield surprises too in their ‘Sunset’ program. Top Australian DJs Kid Kenobi, Mark Dynamix, Jonathan Wall, Ben Korbel and Declan Lee have all graced FBi’s dance program over the last eighteen months. The time has come to hand the mic over to the next Sunset generation and this week FBi unleashes a brand new line up on SUNSET. The music, however, remains the same – new local and international dance music, Monday to Friday, from 6pm until 8pm. The line-up takes shape as below: Sunset new weekly programming Monday - Dub, electro, hip hop and soul from Scottish-born Aussie gal Lorna Tuesday - Brings funk obsessives Will Styles and Learned Hand to the decks. As Funktrust, the DJ duo are known for sets with a flagrant disregard of genre, mixing breakbeat, block party breaks, party style hip hop and original uncut funk. Wednesday - One of Australia's most renowned electro-dubbists, live acts and remix artists, Deepchild aka Rick Bull. Get over the midweek hump with pure uncut booty love, soulful dub, jiggy electro, r & b and a liberal dose of new soul and hip hop. Thursday - Ajax is the man behind one of Sydney’s most infamous club nights - Bang Gang, Friday – Sees ITM setting up the weekend. Log on and tune into FBi 94.5 and enjoy the new line-up.
