Once you have finished inhaling 5 too many extra large chocolate eggs over the upcoming long weekend, you’ll be full of energy and what better way to even up the carloire keel by busting out some D&B grooves on Easter Sunday 27th March at The End in London. Expect a night of explosive beats as a stream of top draw D&B artists get down to some adrenalin-packed mixing in the main booth, while DJs in the lounge deliver a chilled mix of hip-hop, down-tempo and breaks.
Innovator Andy C will be tearing up the main room, firing up the crowd with his trademark mixes and cheeky bass-lines. Hype will be stirring things up too, serving up a somersault of beats and jump-up breaks. With Bristol's Krust and Die also on the decks, plus Virus' Ed Rush and Optical rolling out the tough tech beats the bill is looking good for London D&B fans. MCs GQ and Flux and Fats rev-up the crowd in the main room.
Over in the lounge, Spit Kingdom Soundsystem will be supplying the beats, hosted by Phoenix & DVS. The Mixologists, Porge 1 and Diccon will be joined by special guest Ras Kwame (Radio 1/1 Xtra). for what promises to be a superb blend of downright dirty breakbeatin' funk and hip-hop. Tickets are £12, doors open at 10:00pm.
