  • After 5 years of partying Slinky is still going stronger and harder than ever, traveling from the UK to Australia and other countries featuring tough music just the way fans like it. The annual Slinky party returns to Mebourne on Sunday June 12 (Queens birthday weekend) at QBH featuring Fergie and BK. Fergie first arrived on the scene in 2000 and went on to secure residencies at UK’s top club such as slinky, Godskitchen, Trade and Passion. His fast sucess saw him make the highest first entry to the prestigious DJ magazine top 100 chart when he was voted #8. He also enthralls audiences globally with his Radio 1 show on BBC radio. Ben Keen, aka BK, is recognized the world over as the most successful and prolific hard trance producer of all time. With worldwide dance chart hits like ‘Music is Moving” and “revolution”, BK has reinvented the genre of hard house and breathed new life into the style he calls his sound “ever changing and full of energy” with innovation infusion of trance and techno that redefine the hard house style. BK’s tracks are irresistible to both clubbers and critics, but the true measure of his talent can be seen in the number of fellow producers and Djs who clamour for a slice of his skills. Tickets for Slinky are $45.00 +bf and service charges from Ticketek.com.au (phone:13 28 49) and the usual outlets. Expect to pay more on the door. The event runs from 10pm to 8am.
