The DMC World DJ Championship celebrates its 20th anniversary this year and entrants are now being sought for the 2005 Australian heats. Those with elite turntablist skills can grab an entry form now from selected record stores or download one from here.
The regional heats will be held during July in Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia, Queensland, the ACT, Western Australia and for the first time ever in Tasmania. State winners will be flown to the national final in Melbourne in August. The 2005 Australian champion will then head to London in September to take on the world's best DJs for the first prize of Gold-plated decks and an album deal.
Dates announced thus far are shown below. Still to be confirmed are dates and venues in Adelaide, Perth, Newcastle, Brisbane, and Canberra. Keep reading RA for updates!

Hobart heat: Saturday 16 July , Halo Nightclub
Sydney heat: Saturday 6 August, Gaelic Club
Australian Finals: Friday 26th August, Melbourne (venue tbc)
