The latest of the line in the Y4K series put out by Distinctive Breaks is due to hit the shelves on 6 June 2005, with this one mixed by Fabric resident Ali B. He follows in a long line of DJs that includes Hyper, Tayo, Koma & Bones, FreQ Nasty, Dub Pistols, Ils, Uberzone, Hybrid, Soul of Man and Phil K. Ali's mix selection is skewed towards the funky side of breaks with sounds of Plump Djs, Stanton Warriors, and more.
The release will be supported in Australia by a four date tour taking in most of the major cities. Ali B's trip to Oz follows closely on the heels of his fellow Fabric resident Joe Ransom, whose sets were very well received. Save yourself a plane fare and dont bother to go to London when Ali's coming to us. See below for tour dates and a taste of what the newest Y4K CD has in store.
