- After an extended absence the Movin’ House Crew are making a welcome return to the Sydney scene with their quality flagship night; Toasted. Candy’s Apartment is the venue and Friday July 29th the date. To celebrate Toasted’s return, Jason Hodges (Oomph, Aroma, AfterSchool, Sampled, Utensil, Amenti) is flying in from Canada to headline the night. It is not uncommon for Toasted to feature an artist unknown to many of the Sydney massive and then within 12months they return with a huge following, so expect exciting fresh sounds from Hodges. Especially after a very tight relationship with DJ Sneak over recent years has seen them producing huge big room sounds. Sneak refers to Hodges as ‘the Kenny Dope of Toronto’ . Spinning alongside is a solid lineup of some of Sydney’s DJs. In the front room Simon Caldwell, Mark Murphy, Jay Walker, Jools and Mr. Wendle will be toastin it up, while you can Boogie Down in the back room to the sounds of Nick Toth, Blaze and Regal.
