Friday nights are taking off again in Melbourne as winter draws to a close. Now you can add a new night, Obsession, to your list of clubbing events when it launches on Friday 26 August at Room680. The night aims to bridge the gap between progressive, trance, breakbeat and german tech on offer.
The main room will be all about trance, a popular sound at Room680, Jules PLees, Chris Pana, Steve Strangis and Scott Bateman on decks. The front room offers a unique mix of music as Lance Harrison looks after the german tech, electro and minimal sounds while Keltec and Jono Fernandez deliver the prog and breakbeat.
While this one is a big ticket event at $25 for pre-sold tickets, the lineup celebrates many of our local and best DJs, with two hour sets from each of the trance DJs in the main room. It should be huge!
