  • Back in 2001, when Science Dept (Danny Howells and Dick trevor) released ‘Breathe’ (feat Erire) through Renaissance recordings, it was heralded as one of the labels best ever releases and one of the years biggest hits. Sounding as fresh now as it did then, Cr2 Records have announced they will re-release the track with two new hot talents adding their flavour to one of the progressive genre’s most successful tracks and a Drum & Bass version from Pacific Drum. The house mixes come from The Cella Dwellers and James Talk. The Dwellers have completly re-worked the track with Erire’s distinctive vocals sitting atop driving pianos and latin beats. James Talk, a known fan of acid has added his sleazy interpretation with an electro touch. Fans of Nic Fanciulli may have heard him playing this mix of late. The Drum & Bass remixes comes from Canadia’s Pacific with both a Vocal and dub. For the purists amongst you, the original set of mixes are still in the package which is great news for the ‘classic’ parties.
