  • Hyperdub, Burial and US pro skateboarder Yaje Popson have collaborated on a Burial-themed skateboard deck. It was originally Popson's idea. A huge Burial fan, he sent a note to the UK label, explaining how much he loved the London artist's second LP, Untrue. The deck, which was created in partnership with respected US skate brand Alien Workshop, is Popson's first-ever design. "The album's city soundscape resonates, because as a skater I am constantly engulfed in the streets of the metropolis, looking for skate spots among the rat race of Gotham," Popson's note reads. "Skateboarding gives us this reason to explore and appreciate the grittiness of city life." Retailing at £55, the board is now available to buy via the Hyperdub website.
