  • Electric Indigo will release her second album, Ferrum, on Editions Mego in March. The new LP from the veteran producer consists of heavily processed recordings of iron and other metals. Some of the material nods to her decades of dance floor EPs while other, more experimental cuts explore the microtonality of the elemental material. Though Susanne Kirchmayr has been releasing records since the early '90s, this is only her second full-length work, following her 2018 LP, 5 1 1 5 9 3, which came out on Monolake's label. Kirchmayr is also the founder of female:pressure, an international network of female, non-binary and trans professionals in electronic music and digital arts.
