  • It's time for another Renaissance party with international superstar DJ’s, those agenda-setting sounds, and that sublime music. Room680 is gearing up for a huge night as it hosts Renaissance ambassadors James Zabiela and Nic Fanciulli as part of their Summer Tour on Friday 25 November. One of the world’s seminal dance music talents, James Zabiela is at the forefront of global beats and bleeps, and musically encapsulates the very foundations upon which Renaissance was founded: he is passionate, contemporary, upfront, and prodigious. Known as the ‘Three Deck Wizard’, Zabiela’s sublime musical capacities are only matched by his technical precision. It has been a long time since his visit last summer when he played a versus set with Phil K at Room680. The wait will soon be over and JZ will be standing alone under the spotlights this time. Nic Fanciulli has rapidly established himself as one of the globe’s most exciting, skillful and enthralling dance music stars. He has a residency in his home town of Maidstone, has remixed the likes of Kylie and Sander Kleinenberg, runs his own label called "Saved" and even finds time for a little production under the names of Skylark and Buick Project. Nic has just released a new Renaissance compilation mix, which writhes with the infectious beats and progressive house sounds that have made he and the label famous. The tour marks Nic's first visit to Room680 and the first time many Melburnian's will have seen him play. Room680’s will be transformed especially for the event with floor to ceiling décor, the very finest in lighting and effect racks, and a 15-foot video wall of eight Pioneer plasma screens, plus 2 x DVJ 1000’s, Renaissance décor and more suprises. Local support on the night comes from some of Melbourne’s finest progressive DJs with Luke Chable, Mark James, Jono Fernandez, Keltec, Harley Augustine, Nato, 3 Red Bee and Drew K. Earlybird tickets are available now from Room680 or Ticketek for $25 until 5 November or until sold out. After that tickets will set you back $35 +BF. There's already a lot of anticipation for this party so it's sure to be a full house!
