Yutie Lee will release Flower Protocol via Public Possession on April 10th.
The Taiwanese artist begins the record with six digitally-processed covers of Chinese folks songs about flowers—"Plum Blossom," "Orchid," "Rose" and so forth. A number of esteemed remixers take on the sparse songs, including Alva Noto, Bell Towers, Laura Groves, Oceanic, Suzanne Kraft and Bell Towers (who recently released his debut album, Junior Mix via Public Possession and Cascine).
Flower Protocol will come in triple-vinyl and digital formats.
