- The generous folks at 'We love...' have given us a copy of the We love... Homelands the DVD & book to give away to one lucky RA reader.
As Darren Hughes revealed in his recent interview on RA a few weeks back, in the near future the We love… team will be expanding beyond its flagship events of Homelands and Sundays at Space to also include a DJ management agency and also DVD/CD releases.
The first product currently on shelves and sporting the 'We love…' logo is the We love… Homelands the DVD & book, released last month. Bound into the front cover of a hardback book, the DVD comes with 36 additional pages with an introduction from Darren Hughes and a biography of some of the most influential organisations in dance music, like Cream and Mean Fiddler, We Love’s partner. The book also includes photos and flyers from past Homelands events.
The DVD looks at the history of Homelands over the past 6 years since its first event in 1999 and also goes behind the scenes with Darren Hughes as he prepares for both Homelands 2005 and Sundays at Space in Ibiza. Filmed in High Definition with a 5.1 Surround Sound mix the DVD features moments and short interviews with DJs and artists including John Digweed, Paul Oakenfold, Groove Armada, The Streets, Beck, Mylo and more.
