  • United We Stream is putting on a virtual festival this weekend. Running from July 25th to 26th the event will beam artists in from a variety of classic Berlin locales. These spots include the botanical gardens, the former Tempelhof airport, Neues Museum and the old Monopol distillery. This weekend's lineup features Juliana Huxtable, Evan Baggs, Laurel Halo, LSDXOXO, Sanni Est, Amin Fallaha, MINCO, Acid Pauli and more, as well as a back-to-back from Jensen Interceptor and Nene H, Paramida. United We Stream started hosting free virtual events like this at various venues around Berlin in March, 74 other partner cities have since participated. Founded by the Berlin Clubcommission, a network of local nightlife stakeholders, the project was intended to help struggling spaces survive the financial blows of the pandemic by asking fans for voluntary donations. 20 percent of funds raised are redistributed to the artists, while this festival will give an additional 8 percent of the money to German anti-racism and anti-extremism non-profit Gesicht Zeigen!. Buy a solidarity ticket for the festival here, and support United We Stream's fundraiser here. Watch the festival trailer below.
