- DJ Yoda and Norman Jay MBE will perform at UNLOCKED, which will adhere to current COVID-19 guidelines.
The team behind UK festival Kaleidoscope is planning an outdoor event at London's Alexandra Palace on Sunday, August 30th.
Running from 2 PM through 8 PM, the bank-holiday event, dubbed UNLOCKED, will see DJ Yoda, Norman Jay MBE and more perform to a 60 percent-capacity crowd. There will also be socially distanced queues and strict cleaning and hygiene protocols.
"We're putting a lot of work into ensuring we can deliver our event in a safe way," Simon Fell, director of event operations, said. "Our approach is based on direction from the government and health agencies... If at any point guidance from government changes or it cannot be put on in a safe way, then it won't go ahead and tickets will be refunded."
From August 1st, "pilots of larger events can take place in venues, including in sports stadia and business conferences," according to the UK government's official guidelines for England.
