  • Halle am Berghain has reopened for a new sound installation. On through August 2nd, eleven songs by tamtam, AKA Sam Auinger and Hannes Strobl, takes advantage of the acoustics of the vast industrial venue, using the space itself as an instrument. Capacity is limited to 50 people at a time, according to AFP, and a mouth and nose covering is required, with additional social-distancing measures in place. See more about the installation at the event listing. Berghain's club spaces have been closed since early March as the coronavirus pandemic hit Europe. While large-scale events and festivals are banned in Germany through October 24th, smaller cultural venues have been allowed to reopen. Photo credit: Stefan Wolf Lucks
