  • Faithless are back with their first new studio album in ten years. Sister Bliss (pictured) and Rollo will release All Blessed on October 23rd via BMG. The 12-track LP includes a number of featured artists, such as Warp affiliate GAIKA, Soul II Soul founder Jazzie B OBE, poets Suli Breaks and Caleb Femi, and singers Nathan Ball, LSK and Damien Jurado. On the lead single, "Synthesizer," featuring Nathan Ball, the UK group says, "This is the track that got us thinking of doing a new album in the first place. A love letter to what we do and the music we make and also a little social commentary on our obsession with technology, musically all rolled into a big bold warm Faithless-y anthem." With lead singer Maxi Jazz, Faithless's initial run began in 1995 and involved successfully crossing over into the UK pop mainstream with two turns headlining Glastonbury's Pyramid Stage. Faithless announced their retirement in 2011, though in 2015, Sister Bliss and Rollo reunited to celebrate the group's 20th anniversary, and have been active since, with Sister Bliss handling most Faithless DJ gigs. Maxi Jazz started up a new band Maxi Jazz & The E-Type Boys in 2015. Watch the video for "Synthesizer."
