BBC Three has produced a one-off TV programme called Is This The End Of Clubbing?
Hosted by Jamz Supernova, the 20-minute show examines the current state of nightlife in the UK. The BBC Radio 1Xtra DJ speaks to artists, promoters and venue owners affected by the pandemic, including SHERELLE, Plastician, RECESS founder Jojo Sonubi and James Haggart, who runs Lakota in Bristol.
The programme also speaks to Harry Gay, whose Zoom event Queer House Party has been a huge hit with the LGBTQI+ community. Two disabled fans explain how they appreciate the accessibility of the online experience.
