  • Melodic Distraction say they're being forced out of their current studio space in Liverpool. Citing "irreconcilable differences" with the landlord, the radio station and events company will have to leave their current space in Liverpool's Baltic Triangle by the end of October. They say the landlord will only offer "incremental short lease extensions" due to a planned redevelopment of the land the studio sits on. (The land has not yett been sold to a developer, however.) Melodic Distraction also state that they have not been able to negotiate a break in rent due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Past residents on Melodic Distraction have included Crazy P and ASOK, along with guests like Jayda G, San Proper, Desert Sound Colony, Mr Scruff and more. The station's website is down for the next 24 hours, but you can listen by downloading any of the apps listed in this Facebook post.
