Russell Haswell's latest album, Digital, is out on all formats this week.
Released on the occasion of the UK experimentalist's 50th birthday, Digital lands on the venerable Editions Mego imprint. The digital version dropped on Bandcamp Friday, with the vinyl LP—accompanied by an exclusive, three-track 12-inch—out this Wednesday, November 11th. The ten new tracks look over the wide range of influences that have informed Haswell's output over the years, spanning metal, noise, electro-acoustic improv, power electronics and techno.
Russell Haswell is a Coventry-born multidisciplinary artist whose work covers video art, public sculpture and production. Digital follows a late 2019 album for Diagonal, 37 Minute Workout Vol.2, as well as a prolific stream of output on Bandcamp.
