Ostgut Ton sublabel A-TON is putting out Emeka Ogboh's debut album, Beyond The Yellow Haze.
The record was formerly featured in the Nigerian installation artist's first solo exhibition, No Condition Is Permanent, back in 2018. The five-track LP merges dance music and city soundscapes, integrating field recordings taken in Obgoh's hometown of Lagos. Beyond The Yellow Haze will come packaged as a double-LP release and a digital album on January 15th, 2021.
Currently based in Berlin, Emeka Ogboh is a sound and installation artist whose work typically centers the soundscapes of Nigeria's capital, Lagos.
