  • Revive The Night, a three-day virtual festival doubling as a fundraiser for San Francisco dance floors, goes down online this weekend. The premise for the event is simple—to directly support institutions that serve as cornerstones of San Francisco's storied but endangered club scene, including 1015 Folsom (pictured), Audio, F8, Fault Radio, Gray Area, Halcyon, Monarch, Public Works, RS94109,The Great Northern, The Stud and Vinyl Dreams. Revive The Night's website allows attendees to support each club individually, and across the weekend, each institution will program its own unique "room," often highlighting DJs or live acts who regularly play the respective brick-and-mortar venue. Naturally, the programming, which includes a pre-party, afterhours streams and three-days of online content, is a who's who of San Francisco nightlife, featuring Mark Farina, Bored Lord, Solar, Mozhgan, Tyrel Williams, Sepehr, DJ CZ, to name a few, as well as some out-of-town guests like Dâm-Funk & Sappho.
