  • Nathan Fake will release his debut artist album "Drowning In A Sea Of Love" on Border Community next month. Still just 22 years of age, Fake burst into the spotlight in 2003 when his track "Outhouse" was picked up by James Holden and released on Border Community. Since then he has remixed DJ Remy's "Scrambled", Steve Lawler's "Out At Night", Tiefschwarz's "Issst", released the "Watlington Street" EP on Satoshi Tomiie's Saw Recordings, last year's "Dinamo/Coheed" on Traum as well the psychedelic epic "The Sky Was Pink", which also appears on his artist album and was recently remixed by James Holden and Martinez. Described as a 'truly enchanting collection of rocktronica', "Drowning in a Sea of Love" is loaded with casio riffs, fake guitar lead lines, single live take recordings and 'a heap of lighters-in-the-air' moments, and looks set to further cement Border Community as one of the most influential dance labels in the UK. Hailing from the Norfolk countryside in the UK, to many dance music fans, Fake is a breath of fresh air and one of the few bright lights in the UK production scene, with German labels and producers having stolen much of the limelight in 2005. One of the most sought after producers in the dance music industry, his productions have been supported by a wide cross-section of DJs across all genres.
