  • Public holidays and huge dance parties go hand in hand in Melbourne. Details are now coming in on the slew of parties that will be happening over the Easter long weekend. On of these is Future Entertainment's Mischief party on Good Friday, 14 April, at the Public Office featuring Felix Da Housecat, Audio Bullys and Sharam Jey. While definately a house party, Mischief is one to get down and dirty at, continuing the tradition of warehouse parties. FE promise a dirty big warehouse space, two big sound systems, plenty of bars, extra fans, an open air roof top and the biggest line up of amazingly talented people to help cause as much Mischief as possible. Felix Da Housecat (USA) gave birth the 80’s synth revival, has produced two albums entitled “Devin Dazzle and the Neon Fever” which was a follow up to the massive “Kittens and thee Glitz”. He is a Melbourne favourite and absolutely knows how to rock the roof off a party, electro-punk style. This will be Felix's second Mischief party! Two years ago, Audio Bullys (UK) dropped their debut album 'Ego War' and emerged from the UK. Their sound is a mix of house, hip-hop, punk, soul and UK garage. Most recently they have conquered charts and minds with their single “Shot You Down” which has emerged as a worldwide smash hit. The track features the vocals of Nancy Sinatra, instantly recognizable from the opening credits of the wildly popular film 'Kill Bill'. The track has seen massive support from top DJ talent including Fatboy Slim, Pete Tong, Erick Morillo and more. Sharam Jey (Germany) is a DJ, producer, King Kong Records head honcho, and real allrounder. His music sits at the edge of a crossover between House, Techno, Electro and "Disconouveau". He's also the creator of the club anthem "Da Loverz" that smashed 2003/2004 and he has a brand new artist album due out on Darren Emerson’s Underwater Records in September. Sharam has just completed remixes for Moby, Mylo and Gwen Stefani, and also joins Darren Emerson on the Underwater 'Episode 4' mix compilation. He is a definitely one to watch. Tickets are on sale now, and this one will sell out quick as most Mischief parties do.
