  • Two years on from its debut in South America in Sao Paulo, Brazil, this month SonarSound returns to the continent, but this time to Buenos Aires, Argentina with another outstanding musical and video graphic programme. SonarSound, the pocket-sized version of the Sonar Advanced Music and Multimedia Art Festival, held each June in Barcelona, will take place on March 18th at Costa Salguero in Buenos Aires. Confirmed international DJs and artists so far include Laurent Garnier, Colder, Isolée, DJ Yoda, Plaid, Darshan Jesrani (Metro Area) and Diplo with local DJs Carlos Alfonsín, Romina Cohn, Simbad, Spitfire and Cristóbal Paz. Visuals will be provided by TinnyLittleElements (Lia + Autokontrast) and No-Domain. In addition to the SonarClub and SonarPark stages, SonarSound will also offer an audiovisual space called SonarCinema, where animation, documentaries, and short and full feature-length films will be showcased. Buenos Aires joins London, Lisbon, Neuchatel, Hamburg, Tokyo, Rome, Lyon, Sao Paulo and Guadalajara as the previous destinations where SonarSound has been held. Tickets are already on sale for both SonarSound Buenos Aires and Sonar in Barcelona (this year held June 15-17).
