  • Carl Cox will return to London for the launch party of HeatUK's South West Four (SW4) festival Last August Bank Holiday Weekend saw 20,000 clubbers converge on London's Clapham Common to see the likes of Sasha, John Digweed, Carl Cox, Steve Lawler and Danny Rampling (in one of his final ever DJ appearances) at SW4. This year Carl Cox is the official spokesman for SW4 2006 and will be launching the summer festival at a launch party on April 15th with a 4-hour set in the main room of the Brixton Academy joined by The End's Mr.C and Tim Sheridan (of NastyDirtySexMusic fame). The foyer will be hosted by Platform 12 with Meat Katie, Ali B, Future Funk Squad and Platform 12 residents Clive Morley, Lady Killer and Travis Lucas, while upstairs tough and funky house will be served up by Hot&Spicy, Plush De Funk and Dirty Groove. SW4 2006 will again take place in the summer over the August Bank Holiday Weekend and as part of this summer's Metro Weekender, will join forces with the Get Loaded In The Park event happening in Cardiff. Both events will offer special tickets allowing punters to attend both parties. The South West Four (SW4) Launch Party takes place at the Brixton Academy in London on April 15th, 2006. Advance tickets for £18 are available from Ticketweb.
