  • On its latest release, UK Basic brings together some of the label's key talents for three cuts of stripped down percussive deep house. Hefty groovers from Âme, Sydenham & Ferrer, Henrik Schwarz and Dixon in the first half of 2006 have kept record buyers lingering in the deep house section of their favourite stores and expect 'The Friends Re-United EP' from English output UK Basic to do the same. The EP made its debut on soundsystems at this year's WMC and has since received support from Vega Records' Mr.V and Buzzin' Fly's Rocco Rodamaal. It unites three artists from the UK Basic imprint: LA's Will 'Reelsoul' Rodriguez, Toronto's John Kumahara and Germany's Lars Behrenroth Inspired by his late night 'The Afterhours Show' on Passion FM, the UK Basic imprint was set up by Frank Martin and has released quality deep textured house since 2005. Like the UK Basic nights of deep-layered grooves, friendly faces and content souls, the label's philosophy is centred around good music, passion and soul. The 'The Friends Re-United EP' will be available in stores worldwide on UK Basic by the end of May with a release launch party scheduled for Friday May 12th, 2006 at Moonshadows in California.
